Whatsapp Template Messaging

Let's see how we can connect Frontman to your WhatsApp Business API, enabling you to leverage WhatsApp Template Messaging within the Story Builder.

A. Steps to Establish Connection Using Chatman:

  1. Chatman: This method simplifies the setup process by utilizing Chatman, a third-party integration platform. You'll need to provide your Chatman passkey, which can be obtained from your Chatman account dashboard. Once entered, Frontman will automatically initiate a connection request via WhatsApp to the provided phone number for verification.

  1. Chatman Passkey:

If you've selected Chatman, enter your unique Chatman passkey obtained from your Chatman account dashboard.

  1. Send WhatsApp Message:

  • Frontman will automatically initiate a WhatsApp message request to the provided phone number for verification.

  • Ensure you enter a valid phone number associated with your WhatsApp Business Account in the format: Country Code + Phone Number (e.g., 91-XXX-XXX-XXXX).

  1. Connection Status:

Once you've received and approved the verification message on your WhatsApp Business Account, the connection status within Frontman will update to "Active."

B. Steps to Establish Connection Using Add Manually Option:

  1. Before You Start

    You will need:

  1. Choose Your Connection Method: Select "Add Manually" from the connection method options.

  1. Enter Your WhatsApp Credentials:

  • WhatsApp Business Account ID: Find your 10-digit account ID.

  • Phone Number ID: Enter the 10-digit phone number associated with your account.

  • Permanent Access Token: Locate your unique access token which starts with "EAA..."

  • NOTE: You have to reach into your meta developers account and select your app. When you go to "Get Started" section of whatsapp you will get your Account and Phone ID. To generate a permanent token you have to reach into your business account<Users<System users and firstly creat a user than generate a API token for that as shown in images below

  1. Verify Your Connection: Click "Send WhatsApp message to connect app" and enter your WhatsApp phone number (including country code) to receive a verification message. Once received, follow the instructions to complete the connection.

Following these steps will establish a connection between Frontman and your WhatsApp Business API, allowing you to utilize WhatsApp Template Messaging within the Story Builder for enhanced customer communication.
