RSS

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds provide a convenient way to access updates from websites and blogs in a standardized format. By integrating Frontman with RSS feeds, you can continuously train your chatbot with the latest content, ensuring it stays up-to-date and delivers the most relevant responses.

Steps to Follow

  1. Locate the RSS Feed URL:

    • Identify the website or source you want to use for training data.

    • Look for an RSS feed icon (often an orange square with white radio waves) or search for "[website name] RSS feed".

    • Clicking the icon or following the search results should lead you to the website's RSS feed URL (typically starting with "https://..." and ending with ".rss").

  2. Configure RSS Feed in Frontman:

    • Access the data loader section and Select "RSS" as the data source.

    • In the designated field, paste the complete RSS feed URL you obtained in step 1 (e.g., https://example.com/rss).

  1. Set Import Frequency (Optional):

  • Frontman offers the option to control how frequently the RSS feed is checked for new content.

  • Choose between:

    • None: Manually trigger imports whenever needed.

    • Daily: Check for new content daily.

    • Weekly: Check for new content weekly.

  • Selecting a frequency automates the import process, ensuring your chatbot stays updated with the chosen schedule.

  1. Save and Import:

  • Once you've entered the feed URL and chosen your preferred import frequency, Click "Connect" to establish the connection between Frontman and your RSS link. Once Connected, you can check your data bank for RSS connected information.
