# Publish

This guide details the steps to integrate Frontman with your website, allowing visitors to interact with your live chat support.

**Prerequisites:** A registered website domain URL

### **Steps to Connect your website:**

1. **Link Frontman:**
   * Provide your website domain URL.
   * Frontman will be linked to this domain.
2. **Display Settings (Optional):**

   By default, Frontman appears on both desktop and mobile devices. You can choose to display it on desktops or mobiles only.
3. **Start Screen Settings (Optional):**

   Frontman opens with a home screen by default. You can prioritize the chat screen instead.
4. **Copy and Paste Widget Code:**

   Copy the provided code snippet and paste it into your website's HTML, preferably before the closing body tag (`</body>`) on every page.
5. **Send Custom User Attributes to Frontman (Optional):**

   Include user data (e.g., name, email) to personalize chat interactions and segment users. You can copy and replace placeholders in the provided code with dynamic user information.
6. **Verification:**

   Once the code is added, a checkbox will turn green with a "Verified" message upon successful integration.
