# Session

A bot session refers to a conversation between a unique user and a bot over a specific period. Each session is distinct, even if the user interacts with the bot multiple times within a short timeframe.

* **Filter by Week/Month/Custom:** This section details the functionality of the "Filter by WeekMonthCustom" option within the analytics dashboard. It allows users to specify a custom date range (e.g., Jun 05, 2024 - Jun 11, 2024) to filter and analyze bot session data for that timeframe.
