This section details the process of utilizing the "WhatsApp Template message" card within Story Builder to send personalized WhatsApp messages to users or yourself.

Connecting Frontman with WhatsApp:

There are two methods for connecting Frontman with your WhatsApp Business API:

  1. Chatman Integration:

    • Select "Chatman" under "Select method to connect Business WhatsApp API."

    • Enter your Chatman passkey directly.

    • Send WhatsApp message to connect app: Provide your WhatsApp number for verification and follow the on-screen prompts.

  2. Manual Addition:

    • Select "Add Manually" under "Select method to connect Business WhatsApp API."

    • Enter your WhatsApp Business API credentials.

Whatsapp Template Messaging

Sending Verification Message:

Once the connection method is chosen, you'll be prompted to enter a WhatsApp phone number for verification. Frontman will send a verification message to this number.

Story Builder Integration:

After successful connection, you can now proceed to use the "WhatsApp Template message" card within Story Builder. Here's a breakdown of the configuration options:

  • Recipient: Specify the recipient's mobile number (including country code). You can also use user attributes or add multiple comma-separated phone numbers.

  • Select Template: Choose a pre-defined WhatsApp template from the available options. Utilize the search bar to locate a specific template by name.

  • Header Type: Define the header type for your message (currently supports "NONE").

  • Body: Craft the main body text of your WhatsApp message.

  • Footer: (Optional) Include a footer text for your message.

  • Set Attributes: (Optional) Use this section to dynamically populate message content based on user attributes.

  • Buttons: (Optional) Add call-to-action buttons to your message. Currently, the "Call Phone Number" option is available.
