Confluence

This document outlines the process of integrating your Confluence knowledge base with Frontman AI to enhance your chatbot's capabilities. By importing relevant content from Confluence, you can significantly improve your chatbot's ability to provide accurate and informative responses to user queries.

Steps to Follow-

In Confluence Account

1. Log into your Confluence account and firstly copy your "Homepage URL".

2. Than select the space you want to add go to space setting and copy it's "Space key"

  1. Generate an API token for your Confluence account with appropriate permissions to access the specified space. https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security/api-tokens. Copy the generated API key

In Frontman

  1. Access Confluence Data Loader: Navigate to the data loader section of your Train AI<Data Loaders section and select the "Confluence" integration option.

  1. Provide Confluence Credentials:

  • Confluence URL: Enter the base URL of your Confluence instance which we copied before (e.g., https://yourcompany.atlassian.net).

  • Space Key: Paste the "Space key" of the specific Space which you want to import.

  • Username: Enter the username for your Confluence account.

  • API Token: Paste the Generated API key.

  1. Import Frequency:

  • None: Manually trigger imports whenever needed.

  • Daily: Check for new content daily.

  • Weekly: Check for new content weekly.

  1. Connect: Click the "Connect" button to initiate the integration process. Frontman AI will begin importing supported file types recursively from the specified Confluence space. Once connected, you can check the data bank for imported data.
