# Collections

Collections empower you to categorize and streamline your content within GitBook.

### **Creating a New Collection:**

* **Initiate Creation:** Click on the designated "Add New Collection" button to begin the process.

* **Define Details:** Provide a clear and concise heading for your collection. Additionally, craft a descriptive summary to explain the collection's purpose and content focus.

* **Finalize Creation:** Once satisfied with your entries, click the "Create New" button to finalize the collection and populate it with articles.

### **Adding Articles to Collections:**

1. **Locate Add Articles Button:** Identify the dedicated "Add Articles" button within your chosen collection.
2. **Attach Article Links:** Utilize this button to attach links to the specific articles you want to include within your collection. This allows you to curate a specific set of articles under a single category.
