Export via Zapier

This guides you through the integration process, enabling you to export valuable system and user data attributes from Makerobos to platforms like CRM systems, Google Sheets, and much more.

Setting Up the Integration:

  1. Create a Zap: Head over to your Zapier account and initiate a new "Zap." This will serve as the automated workflow that connects Makerobos with your chosen application.

  2. Trigger Selection: Within the Zap setup, designate Makerobos as the trigger app. This signifies that Makerobos will initiate the automated workflow based on a specific event.

  3. Choosing the Trigger Event: From the available Makerobos triggers, select "Export via Zapier: Send Attributes." This trigger activates the data export process whenever it's invoked within a Makerobos story flow.

  4. Account Authentication: Connect your Zapier account to your Makerobos account by selecting the appropriate option and providing your API key. This grants Zapier the necessary authorization to access and export your data.

  5. Trigger Configuration: Within the trigger setup, locate the "Block Name with trigger ID" field. This field allows you to specify the exact block within your Makerobos story that will trigger the data export.

  6. Testing and Action Setup: Once the trigger is configured, initiate a "Test Trigger" to ensure proper communication between Makerobos and Zapier. If successful, proceed to configure the "Action" within your Zap, which defines what happens to the exported data in the chosen third-party application.
