The Active Campaign Plugin Card is a powerful tool designed to streamline your workflow by bridging the gap between Frontman and your Active Campaign CRM. With this plugin, you can achieve seamless integration, allowing you to effortlessly connect your Frontman instance with all the valuable customer data stored within your Active Campaign account. This translates to a more efficient and centralized approach to managing customer relationships.

Walkthrough of Connecting Active Campaign and Frontman-

  • Create an account or sign in using https://www.activecampaign.com/login

  • After successfully creating an account or signing up go to the Settings<Developer section and copy "Base URL" and "API Key".

  • In Frontman, find the Active Campaign CRM card and drag and drop it to the story builder and hit the "Connect" button.

  • Paste copied "Base URL" and "API Key" and complete the connection.

  • After connecting, set fields in the "Active Campaign CRM Block" you dragged in the story builder and run the chatbot.

  • Submitted entries will appear in Active Campaign CRM's "Contacts" section.

A. How to Integrate Active Campaign CRM in Frontman -

  1. Sign into your Active Campaign account at below URL

  1. Get your "Base URL" and "API Key" from Developer section in Settings of your Active Campaign CRM.

  1. Establish Connection:

Once you've dragged the Active Campaign CRM plugin for Frontman, access the "Connect" option. Here, you'll be prompted to enter your Active Campaign CRM Base URL and API Key. Providing these credentials establishes the connection between the two platforms. After successful connection, you can review or modify these settings using the "View Settings" button.

  1. Select fields:

  • Manually Add Fields: Select the specific Active Campaign CRM data fields you want to synchronize with Frontman (e.g., Email(Required), Phone No., Name, custom fields).

  • Leverage User Attributes: You can also Utilize existing user attributes within Frontman to pre-populate Active Campaign CRM fields, streamlining data collection.

  1. Once the connection and field selection are complete, run your chatbot as usual. Data collected through Frontman interactions will be automatically synced with your designated Active Campiagn CRM fields, keeping your CRM data up-to-date. You can view it in "Contacts" section of your CRM.
