This guide details how to integrate Frontman with your Zendesk account to import your customer support data and train your chatbot with valuable insights.
Firstly log into your Zendesk account and copy your "Hosted Domain" from the URL
Go to "Guide"(Help Center) and Click on add button to create an "Article"
Than add your Title and Description of the blog and select the Section it belongs to and "Save" it
In Admin Center, click Apps and integrations in the sidebar, then select APIs > Zendesk API. In the Settings tab, enable token access.
Click the Add API token button to the right of Active API tokens.
The token is generated and displayed.
(Optional) Enter an API token description.
Copy the token and paste it somewhere secure. When you click Save to close this window, the full token will never be displayed again.
Access Zendesk Data Loader: Navigate to the data loader section of your Train AI<Data Loaders section and select the "Zendesk" integration option.
Fill the required information
Hosted Domain: This is the subdomain of your Zendesk instance. In the example, it's https://example/.zendesk.com
. You can find this in your Zendesk URL.
Registered Email: The email address associated with your Zendesk administrator account.
Enter Token: A Zendesk API token with access to view tickets and other relevant data. Instructions on generating an API token are provided in the following section.
Select Import Frequency
None: Manually trigger imports whenever needed.
Daily: Check for new content daily.
Weekly: Check for new content weekly.
Connect: Click the "Connect" button to initiate the integration process. Frontman AI will begin importing supported file types recursively from the specified Zendesk. Once connected you can visit "Data Bank" to view imported files.
