# Total Messages

### About this **Metric:** 

The "Total Messages" feature displays the total number of messages exchanged between the bot and the user during a specified timeframe.

* **Filter:** Users can filter the data by selecting a timeframe using the "Filter byWeek/Month/Custom" dropdown menu. The available options include:

  * Week (displays messages from the current week)
  * Month (displays messages from the current month)
  * Custom (allows users to define a specific date range)

  The "Total Messages" graph displays two values:

  * Total Messages: This represents the overall number of exchanged messages within the chosen timeframe.
  * Comparison: This value displays the percentage change compared to the previous timeframe (e.g., +242.55%).
