List Messages
List messages are a type of block message that helps convey information in a text-based list format to users.
Each list message consists of text elements arranged in a list that include a title, rows, and rows description.
List messages includes CTAs to interact users to make selections or trigger specific actions.
Making a list message with Chatman is easy; just you need to imagine the scenario for which you're creating the list message.
Suppose you're a in a Tech field and want that all your customer queries are answered promptly. How list message are useful here?
You can create a list of FAQs along with relevant answers.
Let's create the steps for our above imagination!
Creating List Messages
Name the List Message:
Choose a meaningful name for your list message. This helps you easily identify and manage your messages later.
The best name that suits our scenario is 'Frequently Asked Questions.'

Body Messages:
Compose the main content of your list. This could be a brief introduction or instructions related to the list.
Like for our scenario we can add a message like:
Hy {{First Name}}! Sorry for the inconvenience faced, here are the list of FAQs that might help resolve your problem.
For adding dynamic variable simple type two brace {{ in the body messages and you'll get a list of attributes to replace from. Here we wanted customer first name so we opt user attributes>first name to replace the variable.

Advanced Options:
Optionally, include a header and/or footer message to provide additional context or information.
A relevant header for our scenario could be "Frequently Asked Questions" and footer can be "If you have more questions, feel free to ask."

Sections:
Create sections within your list, each with a title, row title, row description. You can create more rows and hence the rows description.
For our scenario, we need FAQs. Let's say we have a set of FAQs related to 'Software Installation and Compatibility Issues.' We give same name to the title so user understand quickly.
Now in row title we can enter the question let's say :
Why is the software not installing on my computer?

Accordingly we answer the question in row description, for the above we can enter:
If the software installation fails, it could be due to incompatible hardware, insufficient system requirements, or interference from antivirus software. Ensure your system meets the requirements, disable antivirus temporarily, and try reinstalling.

Tap on Add row to add more FAQs and enter questions in row title and simultaneously answers in row description.
Total row count cannot exceed 10. This means here you cannot add more than 10 FAQ to a particular section.
Add Another Section (if required):
If your list requires multiple sections, tap Add another section and repeat the section creation process as needed.
Like here we can create a more section that includes FAQs related to 'Networking and Connectivity Troubleshooting.'
Add question in row title and row description once you tap add another section just as we did in step 4.
Total section count cannot exceed 10. For the scenario this simply means that you can add maximum of 10 categories of FAQs.

Action Button
Include an action button for users to take a specific action, like for the scenario we can add a CTA with name 'Assist More' which redirects users to the website where they can explore a list of FAQs.

Save Attributes
Now it's time to save the response that customer replies with. For this we add a Custom Attribute with name as Save.
This saves users' response helping you to know your customer better and tailor your offerings accordingly.

Create
Review and click on the "Create" button to save and activate your list message.

The list message will be created and is visible in the table.

Each list message in the table has two options:
Delete
If you want to delete your list message, follow the simple steps below:
Decide on which list message you want to delete, head on its right most and tap the delete icon.

A pop appears with Cancel and Confirm options, tap confirm if you still want to delete.

List Message once deleted cannot be retrieved in any case.
Copy

List messages are directly accessible in the conversation box. Open a customer chat and, tap Block>List messages, and choose the desired list message to send.
