# Mark The User Spam

The Spam feature in Chatman’s shared team inbox allows businesses to **flag** and **filter out spam messages** received **from customers**.

Distinguish unwanted or irrelevant messages from genuine customer inquiries, ensuring that agents can focus on addressing valid customer needs promptly.

## **How To Mark A User Spam?**

1. Open the customer chat in the '**Inbox**' whose message is to be marked as spam. Head over to the "**customer panel**' and click on the '**Mark** **as spa**m'.
