Prerequisites of Integrating Shiprocket

To integrate Shiprocket with Chatman, you will need the following prerequisite.

  • A Shiprocket account: You can sign up for a free trial or a paid plan on Shiprocket’s website.

  • A Chatman account: You can create a Chatman account on Chatman’s website and customize your bot according to your business needs.

  • A Shiprocket API key and secret: You can generate these credentials from your Shiprocket dashboard under the API section.

  • A Chatman webhook URL: You can get this URL from your Chatman dashboard under the integrations section.

Once you have these prerequisites, you can follow these steps to integrate Shiprocket with Chatman:

Integrate Shiprocket with Chatman

  1. Create an account on and click on the Sign Up.

  1. You can choose to sign up with your Google or Facebook account, or enter your details manually. If you choose the latter option, you will need to fill in the following fields:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Company Name

  • Email ID

  • Password

  • How many orders do you ship in a month? (Select from the drop-down menu)

  1. After filling in the details, click on the Sign Up for Free button at the bottom of the page.

  1. You will receive a verification email from Shiprocket. Click on the link in the email to verify your account.

  1. You will be redirected to a page where you need to enter your phone number and click on the Send OTP button. Enter the OTP that you receive on your phone and click on the Verify button.

  1. You will be taken to a page where you need to add your company address. Fill in the following fields:

  • Address Line 1 (e.g. B34, Shree, Swej Farm Rd)

  • Address Line 2 (e.g. Sunder Singh Bhandari Nagar, Ganesh Nagar, Sodala)

  • Pincode

  • City (This will be automatically filled based on the pincode)

  • State (This will be automatically filled based on the pincode)

  • Country (This will be automatically filled based on the pincode)

  1. Click on the Save & Continue button at the bottom of the page.

  1. You will be asked to complete your KYC details. You can either fill in the required information or skip this step for now by clicking on the Skip for Now button at the bottom of the page.

  1. You will be taken to the Shiprocket dashboard, where you can manage your orders, shipments, channels, reports, and settings.

  1. To integrate Shiprocket with Chatman, you need to generate an API user and credentials. To do this, click on the Settings icon at the bottom left corner of the dashboard and select API from the menu.

  1. Under the API section, click on the Configure button.

  1. You will see a form where you need to create an API user. Enter the following details:

  • Email Address (This should be different from your Shiprocket account email)

  • Password

  • Confirm Password

  1. Click on the Generate API Credentials button at the bottom of the form. You will see your API user details, including the email, password, token, and secret. Copy these details.

  1. Open Chatman and go to Settings > External Protocols > Applications.

  1. Tap on the Shiprocket icon and then on the Connect button.

  1. Enter the email and password that you created for the API user in Shiprocket and tap on the Install App button.
