Send Template card allows you to send a template message to a customer. Template messages are pre-approved messages that you can create and manage in the Template tab. You can use template messages to initiate conversations with customers or to send notifications, alerts, or reminders.
You can choose from the existing templates that you have created and approved by WhatsApp, or use one of the pre-approved templates.
A template is a specific message format that contains text, media, or interactive components.
For example, you can select a template that reminds the customer of their appointment, or a template that asks the customer for feedback.
You need to check or uncheck this option to indicate whether you want to send the template only when the WhatsApp 24 hour session is expired or not.
The WhatsApp 24 hour session is the time window that starts when the customer sends you a message and ends 24 hours after the last message that you sent. During this session, you can send any type of message to the customer, such as free-form text, media, or interactive messages. After this session, you can only send template messages to the customer, unless they initiate a new session.
For example, you can check this option if you want to send a template message as a follow-up after the 24 hour session is over, or uncheck this option if you want to send a template message as a confirmation during the 24 hour session.
