# Blocks

**Blocks messages** are messages that contain **interactive elements**, such as **buttons** or **lists**, that users can select to reply. They are helpful in several cases:

* They can reduce the number of messages exchanged, making the conversation more efficient and less cluttered.
* They can provide clear and easy options for the user to choose from, reducing the load and the risk of misunderstanding or confusion.
* They can increase the user’s engagement and satisfaction by offering a more interactive and dynamic experience.
